Dr Paul Smith gained his PhD in Atmospheric Science from the University of Leeds, where he built a chemiluminescent ozone sensor using 3D printed components. He has held research positions at the University of Cambridge, Kings College London and University College Cork, pioneering novel environmental sensor technologies.
