Disease detection at point-of-care is of paramount importance in winning the fight against any diseases. The key element to prevent the spread of infection, for example, is the ability to diagnose it rapidly and accurately. Our current diagnostic platforms constrain us by failing to detect the disease at the early stage. New sensor integrated to POC devices i.e., electrochemical, optical, and biological sensor technologies could be a game changer that would save millions of lives.
