Sensors Converge 2021

Peachtree Corners, Georgia – a vibrant suburb of Atlanta – is one of the first smart cities in the U.S. to be powered by city-owned connected infrastructure and 5G. The forward-thinking municipality, which is home to some of the world’s most disruptive technology developers, established Curiosity Lab: a smart city living laboratory designed to facilitate the development and adoption of emerging technologies in real-world conditions that can’t be replicated in a closed environment. The centerpiece of the lab is a three-mile autonomous vehicle test and demo lane –part of a completely connected public street where vehicles can communicate with infrastructure and pedestrians through the latest in cellular vehicle to everything (C-V2X) technology and an array of sensors and edge computing.
