MEMS: Miniature Spectrometers - A Revolution in Sensing

The past five years has seen a revolution in miniature spectrometers capable of analyzing light in the UV-visible-NIR range thanks to the integration of MEMS and quantum optical technologies.  These new spectrometer systems unlock improved performance in a broad range of new applications including systems monitoring health, agriculture, lighting, color, and displays.  This presentation will present several new systems and approaches that have been developed and discuss new application areas unlocked by these technologies.
